Article 1 : The definitions of violating disciplines and cheating in exams.
1.1 : The following behaviors belong to violating discipline of exams:
1.1.1 : Before exams:
①Being late or absent for exams without any excuses, failure to follow the seating arrangement, making noise, paying no attention to invigilators, and those behaviors mentioned are regarded as disrupting the exam order.
②Putting written materials including books and notebooks in the wrong places.
③Taking electronic communication equipment including smart watches and mobiles phones or electronic storage devices to examination rooms.
1.1.2 : During exams:
④Failure to follow the seating arrangement or changing seats without invigilators’ permission.
⑤Leaving the examination rooms without invigilators’ permission during the exam.
⑥Borrowing or lending things, talking or whispering to each other without invigilators’permission
1.1.3 : After the end of exams:
⑦Continuing to write the exam after the time out signal is given
⑧Looking at each other’s paper but without plagiarism.
⑨Taking exam papers or scratch papers out of the room.
1.2 : The following behaviors belong to cheating in exams:
①Carrying or hiding written materials including books and slips related to examination during the examination .
②Exchanging or delivering slips related to examination to each other during the examination.
③Electronic communication equipment including smart watches and mobile phones or electronic storage devices are on turned on during the exam.
④Discussing examination questions and answers with the surrounding people during the exam, or talking, whispering to each other after warning of the invigilator.
⑤Side-glancing and copying other’s examination papers.
⑥Altering the answers after handing in examination papers without the permission of the invigilator.
⑦During examination, taking exam instead for others or helping the others to do this, offering others examination questions or answers of any forms.
⑧Other behaviors can be concluded as cheating in exam by both the scene and visiting invigilator.
1.3 : Behaviors of serious cheating on examinations are as follows:
①Obtaining examination questions and answers before exam by evil means such as bribe,stealing, cheating.
②Having one’s own exam taken by someone else.
③Cheating on exam twice or more than twice.
④Colluding classmates (three people or more than three people) to cheat during the exam.
⑤Colluding inside and outside examination room to cheat in exam by modern communication equipment.
⑥After exam, modifying examination answers by evil means such as bribe, stealing,cheating.
⑦Rejecting to admit mistake with bad attitude and being mischief to disturb the order of examination room when cheating in exam were found or handled.
⑧Threatening or avenging the reporter, witness and staff, or preventing others to report their offense by evil means, even to hamper the job of staff.
⑨After cheating in exam , agitating related students for hampering the investigation, or making perjury to hamper the investigation.
Article 2 : Management
2.1 : For violating disciplines:
①The students should receive a grade of zero and must re study the subject .
②The students, who violated disciplines, must claim serious self-criticism, and they would be given warning or serious warning; For those who slightly violated disciplines but claimed deep self-criticism with good attitude would receive a reported criticism on the campus.
③The students, who have violated discipline once, would be disqualified from the judgments of the superiority and prizes (including scholarship) in the specific academic year.
2.2 : For cheating in exams
①The students will receive a grade zero and must study this subject again.
②The students who have cheated in the exam must claim self-criticism, and will be recorded as a demerit; the students, who have a good attitude to admit mistakes and cheat slightly on exam or who can report the others that cheated on exam, can be lessened punishment .
③The students, who have violated discipline once, would be disqualified from thejudgments of the superiority and prizes (including scholarship) in the specific academic year.
2.3 : For serious cheating in examinations
①The students will receive a grade zero and must study this subject again.
②The students must claim self-criticism. According to their attitudes of admitting mistakes and the actual situation of the cheating, they will be given punishments of probation or expulsion.
③The students, who have violated discipline once, would be disqualified from the judgments of the superiority and prizes (including scholarship) in the specific academic year.
④The students, who have record of serious cheating on exams again or who have already been recorded a demerit because of cheating on exam, will be given punishment of expulsion..
Article 3 : Other behaviours which are not mentioned above, should be handled according to the actual situation, and they are explained by the Office of Teaching Affairs of SIE.
